Sunday, August 14 - All Winds Audition and Camp begins through August 21
Monday, August 15 - Rehearsals
Tuesday, August 16 - Rehearsals
Wednesday, August 17 - Rehearsals

Friday, August 19 - Rehearsals
Saturday, August 20 - Rehearsals / Camp Concludes

Here is the FULL TENTATIVE Band Camp Schedule
BAND CAMP CHECK - IN
PERCUSSION - Thursday, Aug. 11 9:30 am at the MK trailer
COLOR GUARD - Friday, Aug. 12 10 am at the Education Complex Gym
MAJORETTES, and DANCE - Saturday, Aug. 13 10 am at the Education Complex Gym
VETERAN BRASS AND WOODWINDS - Sunday, Aug. 14 10 am -1 pm at the MK trailer
NEW MEMBER BRASS AND WOODWINDS - Sunday, Aug. 14 2 pm -5 pm at the MK trailer
PARKING
Band members that will be driving to campus during camp can park in the Academic Village lot next to the Practice Field and the lots directly behind the Music Building.
Community College Students
Q: Can Community College Students join the Marching Knights?
A: Yes! Please follow the following steps:
New Community College Members: Please complete and submit a UCF Undergraduate Admissions application. This application can be submitted on-line via the UCF website at www.ucf.edu. In the degree seeking information of the application, mark "non-degree seeking". You must also submit the application fee, transcripts and test scores. All items must be submitted to UCF Undergraduate Admissions office by May 1. Applications submitted after this date, WILL NOT have a decision in time.
Returning Community College Members: Please complete and submit a UCF Reactivation form, which can be picked up at the UCF Registrar's Office, located in Millican Hall. This form must be submitted to the Registrar's Office no later by May 1. Forms submitted after this date, WILL NOT have a decision in time.
When you receive your PID number please contact us. We need your formal name, instrument area, and PID. If you have not already submitted your mailing address, please do so. Email is the preferred method to receive this information. See below for email contact info.
WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP
1. Medical Insurance Company and policy number for check-in.
2. Your parents (if you are under 18).
3. Money for meals.
4. What you need for your dorm.
5. Comfortable clothes.
6. Closed toe athletic shoes for out side rehearsals. No sandals/ Crocs/ flip flops, etc...
7. Hat and SUNSCREEN.
8. Water bottle/ Jug
9. Instrument/ mouthpiece/ sticks/ equipment
10. Music
11. A GREAT ATTITUDE! - We are going to work hard.
SCHEDULING CONFLICTS
If you have a conflict with the Percussion Ensemble or Marching Band Class DON'T PANIC. Go ahead and show up for camp and we will help you adjust your schedule when registration opens August 19th - 26th. If you have questions please feel free to contact Dr. Donny Allen or Dave Schreier.
